Some good advice I lifted from some book somewhere… I liked it enough to copy it down by hand, but didn’t have the presence of mind to write down the name of the book, darnit. At any rate, it’s good advice for everyone.

Changing your life: Attitude & Resolve

At the end of the day, the modern man understands that he is responsible for his own life. Regardless of his upbringing, his past, or the obstacles in his path, it is up to him to make the changes that will improve the quality of his life. He can blame others or feel sorry for himself, or he can resolve to take charge and assert control over his life. It’s his decision. That’s your decision, too.

Even if you decide to do absolutely nothing and refuse to change, you are making a choice to stay where you are. On the other hand, you can choose the life you want to lead, and understand that the way you conduct yourself on a daily basis affects everything that happens to you. Attitude affects outcome, so check the negativity at the door.
