Ah, I’ve spent three whole days mourning the end of the long weekend, and now it’s friday again! Hooray!!
Last night I came to came to a decision that I’m going to start eating better. I’ll spend more on organic foods, fresh vegetables, whatever it takes… I’m not going to worry about fat/carb content - it’s not about losing weight. It’s about being pure and whole. I’m disgusted to think that they can pat some chemicals together to resemble a delicious piece of chicken in order to prolong the shelf life, and our mind tricks us into thinking it is so. And, when they take fat out of a piece of food, what do they put in its place so our brain won’t reject it as a fatless piece of crap? My body is my temple - I may be ten years late, but it’s time to start treating it as such.
Sadly, this ban includes diet coke, one of my faaaavorite things in life.
