Sleep eludes me still, but for different reasons now. Getting worked, at work. Today had an all-day working session for a new team that I’m on… all Type A personalities with shrieking senses of humor. We went out to dinner too, M&S Grill. I had scallops with a side of fries (not pregnant). The hysterical shrieking is awesome and hilarious, but not so much at 8am prior to the coffee marathon. I would like to preface the next statements by saying that I love my new team. I’m about to talk about one member… but I’m fairly certain she will never find my blog in this lifetime so is probably fairly safe. So this chick… I’ve never met anyone like her. She lives in new york city but hates it. She says she has no friends. She’s never eaten chinese food before. We went out to dinner and she could hardly find anything on the menu to her liking - she told us that she abides by her three food groups: fried chicken, pizza, and burgers - she eventually ordered the meatloaf but only picked at the mashed potatoes on the side. She also told us that she had only tried broccoli for the first time in her life recently … ? … really? Do people live like this? I shall call her… Gumpy. Got another all-day working session tomorrow. And then it’s SLEEP on the menu for the weekend!!!!!!!!!!
